Ferrous Will apparel is designed to serve as a continual reminder of what is essential - elemental - for achievement. This mask bears the logo that, whenever worn, clearly reinforces the message that fortitude, perseverance, focused and sustained effort, persistence, and hard work are indispensable attributes for success in worthwhile endeavors, while at the same time cautioning against the habits and behaviors that lead to repeated failures.

The Ferrous Will brand also reminds us that our best life is lived when we challenge our whole selves, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Finally, Ferrous Will is a metaphor and homophone, a metaphoric homophone, a clever word-craft infused with a pithy, punchy exhortation:

It takes a Ferrous Will to remove one's self from the Ferris Wheel of repeated failures.

 

Concept

Fe is the symbol for iron found on the periodic table of elements. F and e are the first two letters of the Latin name, ferrum, for iron. Of the 100 or so naturally-occurring, known elements comprising all matter on and within our planet, iron, Fe, is unusual for the central role it occupies in nature and in us. It makes up much of the substance found at Earth's core and dispersed through the successive layers like the mantle and crust, and plays a significant part in the blood coursing through our veins and circulating through our bodies.

The characteristic of iron (Fe, ferrum) used in the Ferrous Will brand metaphor is related to the age-old application for reliability, power and endurance, resilience. Ferrous is the conjugated form of ferrum, conferring those characteristics on its subject, which is, in this case, the human will.

Will is the human agency that provides us access to much of what our heart desires. It is the power of the mind to decide and do.

Ferrous Will combines the words to literally mean iron will. It's a novel adaptation of a familiar idea that has never been more relevant than it is today. Generally, many of us have grown accustomed to taking the path most traveled. It's easier, for sure. But it often holds us locked in a cycle, or a loop, of unmet goals and desires.
